renting a Vehicle to You for the period of time that is specified in the Rental Agreement plus any extra services that You wish to rent which will also be indicated in the Rental Agreement.

The contractual relationship between You and Our company is governed by the following documents:

  • the Rental Agreement, including if applicable its specific conditions (the document agreed with You at the moment of the check-out or the first day of rental)
    · the booking confirmation email (where You have prebooked Your rental online or offline
  • the Insurance and Protection Provisions included in our Rental Agreement
    · the present T&Cs which apply to all aforementioned documents.

To whom do the rental terms and Conditions apply?

The Terms and Conditions will apply to You, the person who is paying for the rental and any associated costs (and You may also be a driver), as well as any (other) driver who is expressly indicated in the Rental Agreement and therefore being authorized to drive the rented Vehicle. All persons named in the Rental agreement are jointly and severally liable for payment of sums due under the contract.

–  The rental charge for the Vehicle for the agreed number of calendar days.

– Any other mobility services You choose to add at Your further cost.

– Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Collision Damage Waiver reduces the renter’s liability to 500 euros from the total cost of the damage to an excess amount, where applicable, under the condition that the Greek Traffic Law is not violated. CDW covers liability for damage to the car or its parts. Any damage to windscreens, tyres, undercarriage, replacement locks, replacement keys and towing charges are not covered under the CDW policy. The exemption of liability does not therefore cover in particular damage, which occurs due to improper treatment and/or operation, for example through incorrect gear changing or filling the wrong fuel, or though loaded goods. The renter is fully liable in case of intentional infringement of the contractual obligations, particularly for damage, which occurs due to an unauthorized driver or due to a forbidden use.

Theft Protection (TP) Theft Protection reduces the renter’s liability in the event of theft or damage caused due to theft or attempted theft of the car to an excess amount, where applicable. Negligence connected with the theft of/damage to the car may lead to the car hire company requiring the full amount for the cost of the car.

-Third Party Liability insurance (LI):When renting a car in Greece it is required by law that drivers carry unlimited third party liability insurance, and as a result it is automatically included in the price of all car rentals. The advantage of having this car rental insurance in Greece is that you are protected from injury, death or property damage to others which occur while operating your rental during your trip to Greece. The cost of fire insurance is also included in your daily car rental rate when you book a car with us.

By contracting with us, You expressly allow our company to charge Your means of payment for any unpaid amount related to Your rental. In this regard, Your express consent will be given at the Rossi rent a car station when you will provide our agent with your mean of payment before picking up the Vehicle.

-Out-of-Hours Service :there may be an additional charge for this service, which will be payable directly to us. We will advise you, the renter, whether a charge will apply when you confirm your pick-up times in your booking request. If you, the renter, are involved in an accident, the local police and our company must be contacted. Keep copies of all relevant documentation you are asked to complete. This may be needed if you, the renter, wish to make a claim.
