Our company is providing instant online car rental services (the “rossirentacar.gr Services”) to users throughout the world via our website.

Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the our Services and, together with our privacy policy, constitute a legal agreement between you and us. By downloading, accessing or otherwise using our Services and/orour website, you are confirming that you have read, understood and agreed to these Termsand those of the privacy policy.
We may amend these Terms at any time at our discretion. If these Terms are amended, we shall display the revised terms and conditions on or via our website and you will be deemed to have accepted any amendments if you continue using our Services after the amendments are displayed.
If you do not accept all of these Terms then you should notuse this website or proceed to any purchase of the services advertised herein.
Using our Services
You may only use our Services in compliance with applicable laws and for legitimate purposes. In consideration of you agreeing to abide by these Terms, we grant you a non-transferable, non-exclusive license to download, access and use our services for your own personal, non-commercial purposes and for no other purpose. In particular, we grant such license to you subject to you agreeing that you shall not:
- a) use our Services for any purpose that is improper, unlawful, or to post, share or transmit any material that
(i) is defamatory, offensive, obscene or otherwise objectionable;
(ii) is in breach of confidence or privacy or of any third party’s rights including copyright, trade mark or other intellectual property rights;
(iii) is posted, shared or transmitted for the purpose of advertising or promoting yourself or any third party; or
(iv) is misleading or misrepresentative as to your identity or which in any way suggests that you are sponsored, affiliated or connected with us;
- b) use our Services for any commercial purpose or in any manner which may cause damage to usor bring us into disrepute;
- c) disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise decompile any software, applications, updates or hardware contained in or available via our Services, except as permitted by law;
- d) copy, distribute, communicate to the public, sell, rent, lend or otherwise use our Services, or seek to violate or circumvent any security measures employed to prevent or limit your access to or use of our Services;
- e) use or interfere with our Services in a way that could damage, disable, overburden, impair or compromise our systems or security or interfere with other users;
- f) introduce onto, or transmit via, our Services any disruptive computer program code, virus, ‘denial of service’ or ‘spam’ attack, worm, Trojan horse, authorisation key, license control utility or software lock;
- g) remove, alter or replace any notices of authorship, trademarks, business names, logos or other designations of origin on our Services or pass off or attempt to pass off our Services as the product of anyone other than us;
- h) use any automated computer program or application to scan, copy, index, sort or otherwise exploit our Services or any part thereof.
Password Protection
Where you sign up to any feature of, or use, our Services that requires the use of a log-in account or password, you agree that youshall be responsible for keeping those password and log-in details confidential and secure. If you become aware, or suspect for any reason, that the security of your log-in details has been compromised, please let us know by sending us an email at info@rossirentacar.gr as soon as you can.
Minors
Our website is not intended for children under 18 years of age, and no one under the age of 18 may provide any information to, on or via our Services. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18, and if we learn that we have collected or received personal information from a child under 18, we will delete that information in accordance with our privacy policy.
Third Party Website
To the extent that any element of our Website is hosted on a third party website (for example, Facebook or another social media website) and there are separate terms and conditions of use relating to that third party website, you agree to fully comply with such terms and conditions.
Sharing information with us
We take your privacy seriously and operate at all times in accordance with applicable data protection laws. You acknowledge that any personally identifiable information which you submit to or via our Website may be used by us in accordance with our privacy policy. You agree to ensure that all personally identifiable information you provide to us is accurate and up to date and that you have obtained all consents, licenses or approvals necessary to enable us to use that information in accordance with these Terms and with our privacy policy.
To the extent that you provide us with any suggestions, comments, improvements, ideas or other feedback (“Feedback”), you hereby assign ownership of all intellectual property rights subsisting in that feedback to us and acknowledge that we can use and share such Feedback for any purpose at our discretion. Booking Policy
In accordance with the present general Terms and Conditions of Car rentals (‘T&Cs’), our company will have the following obligations if a rental agreement is concluded:
renting a Vehicle to You for the period of time that is specified in the Rental Agreement plus any extra services that You wish to rent which will also be indicated in the Rental Agreement.
The contractual relationship between You and Our company is governed by the following documents:
- the Rental Agreement, including if applicable its specific conditions (the document agreed with You at the moment of the check-out or the first day of rental)
· the booking confirmation email (where You have prebooked Your rental online or offline - the Insurance and Protection Provisions included in our Rental Agreement
· the present T&Cs which apply to all aforementioned documents.
To whom do the rental terms and Conditions apply?
The Terms and Conditions will apply to You, the person who is paying for the rental and any associated costs (and You may also be a driver), as well as any (other) driver who is expressly indicated in the Rental Agreement and therefore being authorized to drive the rented Vehicle. All persons named in the Rental agreement are jointly and severally liable for payment of sums due under the contract.
What is included in the price
According to our policy you may be offered the following at no cost:
– The rental charge for the Vehicle for the agreed number of calendar days.
– Any other mobility services You choose to add at Your further cost.
– VAT and Unlimited miles
– Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) Collision Damage Waiver reduces the renter’s liability to 500 euros from the total cost of the damage to an excess amount, where applicable, under the condition that the Greek Traffic Law is not violated. CDW covers liability for damage to the car or its parts. Any damage to windscreens, tyres, undercarriage, replacement locks, replacement keys and towing charges are not covered under the CDW policy. The exemption of liability does not therefore cover in particular damage, which occurs due to improper treatment and/or operation, for example through incorrect gear changing or filling the wrong fuel, or though loaded goods. The renter is fully liable in case of intentional infringement of the contractual obligations, particularly for damage, which occurs due to an unauthorized driver or due to a forbidden use.
–Theft Protection (TP) Theft Protection reduces the renter’s liability in the event of theft or damage caused due to theft or attempted theft of the car to an excess amount, where applicable. Negligence connected with the theft of/damage to the car may lead to the car hire company requiring the full amount for the cost of the car.
-Third Party Liability insurance (LI):When renting a car in Greece it is required by law that drivers carry unlimited third party liability insurance, and as a result it is automatically included in the price of all car rentals. The advantage of having this car rental insurance in Greece is that you are protected from injury, death or property damage to others which occur while operating your rental during your trip to Greece. The cost of fire insurance is also included in your daily car rental rate when you book a car with us.
By contracting with us, You expressly allow our company to charge Your means of payment for any unpaid amount related to Your rental. In this regard, Your express consent will be given at the Rossi rent a car station when you will provide our agent with your mean of payment before picking up the Vehicle.
What is not included in the price
We may charge You for various charges and fees that our company will have to apply relating to incidents that may have occurred during the Hire Period and/or how You used the Vehicle.
Such charges and fees include without limitation:
– we will charge your credit card 1.100 Euros as liability and anti-theft guarantee upon check-in. We will return 1.100 Euros to you upon car return to our company’s station.
– Cleaning fees for a Vehicle returned in an unacceptable and/or dirty state or impaired by bad odour. Extraordinary cleaning costs were calculated on a time and material basis and charged with a minimum lump sum of EUR 150,00.
– Smoking is strictly forbidden in all vehicles. Our company is entitled to claim a compensation lump sum of EUR 150,00 in each case of the ban being infringed by the renter or a third party appointed by the renter
-Charges for lost or stolen keys
– The damages management fees per claim
– All and any fuel used during the Hire Period including a refuelling service charge
– The following additional specific fees and charges (i) extra charges linked to the rental made in stations located in port or other stations; (ii) the extension of Your rental (iii) any charges relating to incidents that may have occurred during the Hire Period and/or how You used the Vehicle.
-Any additional fees that are linked to You and additional Drivers personally (for example: Young driver fees for drivers aged 21-24 are 6,15Euros per day up to maximum 86,10 Euros per rental in some cases.
– any additional fees for parking or speeding or other tickets you received during your car rental period.
-Fuel: Fuel charges are not included in the price.We require you to return the car with the same amount of fuel it had in the tank at pick-up.
Where the car hire company charges for fuel, the cost may be higher than it would be at a local petrol station.
-Personal Accident Insurance (PAI): This optional insurance may be covered by your holiday insurance (please check before you, the renter, travel). If you require PAI, it can be purchased at the car hire counter when you pick the car up.
-Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW): Through the payment of the SCDW tax, the Client’s responsibility in case of damages and / or theft for the rented vehicle is reduced from the value of the Guarantee mentioned above, at the value of 0 to up to 150 € to cover the possible additional costs, and the exceptions being mentioned above.
-Out-of-Hours Service :there may be an additional charge for this service, which will be payable directly to us. We will advise you, the renter, whether a charge will apply when you confirm your pick-up times in your booking request. In the event of a delay causes the car pick-up to fall outside our company’s normal working hours, the car hire company may agree to provide an out-of-hours service – in an extra cost. We can accept no further responsibility where there is no out-of-hours service available – and it is therefore recommended that you, the renter, take independent travel insurance.
-Late Pick-ups / Early Drop-offs Your rental starts and finishes according to the pick-up and drop-off dates and times detailed on your voucher / eVoucher. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for unused time if a car is picked up late or dropped off early. If you are unable to pick the car up at the agreed time and date, it is essential you contact us as soon as possible. If you do not, there is no guarantee that the car will still be available – and you will not be entitled to any refund.
-Child Seats & Special Requests Child seats, roof racks (not available on some cars) and other ‘extra’ items are available on request in most locations, although they cannot be guaranteed. There is usually a fee payable to us. In most locations, child seats are required by law. Please note: rear seatbelts may not be provided in all cars. Requests for these items should be made at the time of booking.
-Car Capacity & Car Class All cars are insured for a maximum number of passengers. We cannot accept liability for the car being unsuitable for all passengers and luggage. As a guide, please refer to our website for approximate capacities of the various car classes. We are unable to guarantee a particular make or model of car. The car shown on your voucher / eVoucher is for guidance only and the car hire company may instead provide a different car which is deemed to be similar or superior.
-Mechanical Difficulties / Accidents: In the case of breakdown or mechanical difficulties, you, the renter, must call us immediately. We must give authority for repairs or replacement cars. If you, the renter, are involved in an accident, the local police and our company must be contacted. Keep copies of all relevant documentation you are asked to complete. This may be needed if you, the renter, wish to make a claim.
-Damages: If some damages are identified upon return of the Vehicle when the inspection made, in your presence and in the presence any of our employees, and if You acknowledge the damages by signing the statement of return of the Vehicle, you will becharged a certain amount of money according to our Recommended damage price list.
You will be the sole responsible and fully liable for damages that may happen in case of racing, off-road driving, hiring to other third parties, reliability trials, speed testing or to take part in rallies, contests, or trials, wherever they are located, official or not.
If Damages are identified during the inspection of the Vehicle by a Rossi Rent a Car Agent or its representative without your presence, we will send to you the following documents:
- statement of return of the Vehicle describing all Damages identified
- pictures of Damages
- An estimate (quote) of the costs of repair that will vary depending of the nature of the Damage and the administration fees for the treatment of the Damage and the Vehicle immobilisation.
You will be able to challenge Damages identified and their invoicing within 14 days after the sending (by e-mail or regular letter) of the documents. If You fail challenging or justifying within the above mentioned period of 14 days, wereservethe right to invoice You the cost of repair identified if you or the renter have caused the damage culpably.
What should i pay attention to when picking up the vehicle?
If You notice any apparent defect or Damage that is not described on the Rental Agreement then You should ensure a note is made on the document and that both You and our company’s agent sign the change to it. This also applies for any apparent defect or damage on the booked accessories.
- Return of the Vehicle during opening hours of οur company’s station
You should return the Vehicle to the agreed station, at the latest, on the date and at the time shown on the Rental Agreement.
The Hire Period will end when You return the Vehicle to our station and hand the Vehicle keys and the registration documents to one of our company’s agents.
Any return of the Vehicle at an earliest stage than the date and time mentioned on the Rental Agreement shall not give rise to any reimbursement.
When You do return the Vehicle to us You must take the opportunity to inspect the Vehicle together with our agent and countersign a Vehicle restitution damage report.
On your request we shall give You a signed document where we declare that the Vehicle was regularly returned to us.
We cannot be held liable for eventual property and/or objects You may have forgotten in the Vehicle, unless You can prove that the property and/or objects were missed in the area of responsibility of our company.
- b) Late return of the Vehicle
In the event that the Vehicle is not returned on the date shown on the Rental Agreement, and if You do not inform us immediately about the delay in its return, weshall regard the Vehicle as having been unlawfully appropriated and will be entitled to report this to the competent local authorities.
In such case we will be entitled to charge You an additional day for each rental day;
When shall i receive my invoice and pay for the rental?
You will receive a final invoice once all elements of Your rental have been settled and no earlier than thereturn date.
You will pay or be charged the full amount in one or in several lots or our company will make direct debit via the agreed method of payment depending on the product and payment method.
You may decide to prepay (prepayment of your booking made online, or directly at our station). Your rental which will include the daily rental charge of the Vehicle and accessories for the Hire Period and for any additional mobility services. Your means of payment will be debited by the agreed amount. You will receive a booking reservation confirmation including the prepayment. In addition, the prepaid amount will be mentioned on the final invoice and deducted from the eventual total amount (still) to be paid.
If You have incurred extra costs such as fine or caused Damages to the Vehicle identified without your presence our company will charge You these costs and the applicable administration fees at a later date, all these administrative fees (damage management fees, fines administrative fees), when we become aware of them. If the invoice amount is not paid in due time, we can automatically charge your credit card. You have to pay the default interest additionally to the non-paid invoice amount.
How to cancel or modify my booking?
- Modifications
You can modify Your booking, free of charge, provided You let us know at least 3 days before the rental is due to start.
Please be aware that new rental prices may apply if You modify Your booking.

- Cancellation
If You have prepaid Your booking online:
– You can cancel Your booking free of charge provided that You have done so 21 or more days prior to arrival.
– If we receive Your cancelation notification less than 20 days prior to arrival, the prepaid amount will not be refunded to you.
– If You cancel your booking within 48 hours or/and fail to show up to our pick-up station, or/and you do not have all the necessary documentation with you or/and you do not have enough balance to your credit card, the prepaid amount will not be refunded.
Dispute Resolution
- Applicable law
In case of dispute between You and Us regarding Your rental, Greek law is applicable and the Greek Courts.
- Complaints
If you, are dissatisfied in any way with your rental, please report this to our company as soon as feasible. If you, the renter, wish to make a complaint, please ensure you contact our Customer Service Team at info@rossirentacar.gr within 3 months of dropping the car off. We know that on occasion, you may feel that your complaint has not been resolved to your full satisfaction, so if you are not happy about the way in which we have handled your complaint, you may refer your complaint to an independent Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) provider;
Our Intellectual Property rights
Except as set out elsewhere in these Terms, all intellectual property rights including, but not limited to, copyright (including copyright in computer software), patents, trademarks or business names, design rights, database rights, know-how, trade secrets and rights of confidence in our website (together, the “Intellectual Property Rights”) are owned by or licensed to us. You acknowledge that by using our Services, you will not acquire any right, title or interest in or to our Services or in or to the Intellectual Property Rights except for the limited licence to use our Services granted to you pursuant to these Terms. You further acknowledge thatyou have no right to have access to any aspect of rossirentacar.gr in source-code form.
Acceptable Use
You may only use this Site to make legitimate reservations, purchases or requests to purchase the products or services offered and shall not use this Site to make any speculative, false or fraudulent Requests or any Requests in anticipation of demand. You represent that you are of sufficient legal age to create binding legal obligations for any liability you may incur as a result of your use of this Site. You agree to provide correct and true information in connection with your use of this Site and you agree to promptly update your membership information (if applicable) in order to keep it current, complete and accurate. It is a violation of law to place a Request in a false name or with an invalid method of payment.Fraudulent users will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
Indemnification
You agree to defend and indemnify our company, our affiliates, and/or our respective suppliers and any of our officers, directors, employees and agents from and against any claims, causes of action, demands, recoveries, losses, damages, fines, penalties or other costs or expenses of any kind or nature including but not limited to reasonable legal and accounting fees, brought (i) by you or on behalf of you in excess of the liability described above, within the limits permitted by applicable law; or (ii) by third parties as a result of:
- yourbreach of this Agreement
- your violation of any law or the rights of a third party; or
- your use of this Site in violation of the terms and conditions set forth herein
Third Parties
If you use this Site to submit Requests for or on behalf of a third-party (“Third-party”), such as a family member or a traveling companion, you are responsible for any error in the accuracy of information provided in connection with such use. In addition, you must inform the Third-party of all Terms and Conditions applicable to all products or services acquired through this Site including all rules and restrictions applicable thereto. Each User using this Site for or on behalf of a Third-party agrees to indemnify and hold each Covered Party harmless from and against any and all liabilities, losses, damages, suits and claims (including the costs of defense), relating to the Third-party’s or the User’s failure to fulfill any of its obligations as described above. You are directly responsible for any Request submitted including for total charges and performance obligations.
Termination
It is in our absolute discretion immediately terminate any agreement with you under these Terms at any time upon notice to you and/or, if you have a log-in account, by cancelling your membership and your access to your account. Our company may suspend your use of our Services without notice at any time, without incurring any liability to you whatsoever.
General provisions
You acknowledge that your unauthorised use of our Services may result in irreparable damage and injury to rossirentacar.gr and/or its affiliates or licensors for which money damages would be inadequate. Consequently, in the event of such unauthorised use, we and our affiliates and/or licensors (as applicable) shall have the right, in addition to any other legal remedies available, to seek an immediate injunction against you prohibiting any further use of our Service.
The invalidity or unenforceability of any provision (in whole or part) of these Terms shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remaining provisions (in whole or part). The whole or part of any provision which is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid or unenforceable shall be deemed deleted from these Terms.
These Terms are personal to you. You shall not be entitled to assign these Terms in whole or in part to any third party without our prior written consent.
These Terms represent the entire agreement between us and you and supersede and replace all and any previous terms, conditions, agreements and arrangements in respect of your use of our Services.
To the extent that we need to contact you, you agree that we may do so via any electronic means, including but not limited to communications posted on this Site or electronic mail.
Any failure by us to enforce any of these Terms shall not be considered to be a waiver of them or the right to subsequently enforce any of these Terms.
A person who is not a party to these Terms shall have no right to enforce any provision of these Terms.
Irrespective of the country from which you access or use our Website and Services, to the extent permitted by law these Terms and your use of our Services shall be governed in accordance with the laws of Greece and you are deemed to have submitted to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rhodes, Greece to resolve any disputes which may arise hereunder.
